DOG WALKING
It’s a long day for dogs when you’re at work. We’ll give them a much-needed potty break and an enriching sniffari filled with affection and fun. With your permission, we top it off with treats at the end. We can come on a regular basis or as needed, and we provide a back-up walker when your usual walker is available.
DROP-IN VISITS
When you’re traveling for business or vacation or out for a day-long adventure, we’ll pop by and care for your cats, dogs, birds, fish or other small animals. Along with companionship and love, we’ll give them food, water, treats and medicine, if needed, and clean the litter.
DOG TRAINING
Although we do not offer dog training specifically, we have a close affiliation with a fabulous trainer, who is a dog magnet! Pups adore her from the word go. She uses positive reinforcement methods to teach obedience training, and she’s amazing with pups of all ages and sizes. We are happy to refer you to her!
OVERNIGHT PET SITTING
We have wonderful pet sitters, who will stay in your home with your animals when you travel. They are all remarkable people and great with animals. Our sitters will work with you to determine appropriate durations your pets can be left alone during the day and adhere to your pets’ needs.

Meet and Greet
Our team member will schedule a meet and greet with you and your pets at your home. We’ll get to know each other, review your pet’s needs and assure a great fit. We’ll agree on a schedule and obtain keys/code for entrance.
How do I know I can trust this person?
Not to worry! We know you’re concerned about having someone new come into your home. Our walkers and sitters are thoroughly vetted!
Is the business licensed and insured?
Around the Block Dog Walking, LLC is licensed and insured in the state of Ohio.
Client Onboarding
Prior to the meet and greet, you will be added to our online portal, Pet Pocketbook. After providing your information, you will be entered into the system as a new client. You will then receive an email invitation, giving you access to your client information, as well as scheduling requests, and billing and invoices.
Billing with ease
We accept Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, checks or cash. You can also pay directly through your PetPocketbook account for a 5% service fee.
